Chamomile | Chamaemelum nobile
Welcome! You will receive a sealed bag of chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile). No pesticides or other chemicals are used!
A plant commonly used to make teas for traditional medicine. It is also used in incense, potpourri, and in bath sachets. Roman chamomile is a perennial while German chamomile is an annual.
The name "chamomile" comes from a combination of Greek words that mean "earth apple" and "on the ground." This is possibly due to its fragrance, which is similar to that of an apple. Egyptians used it in dedication to Ra, and the Romans used it as incense.
